Day Trip to Mount Meru – Scenic Hike and Nature Walk
Start your adventure with a guided hike up Mount Meru, Tanzania’s second-highest peak. The hike offers spectacular views of the surrounding valleys and distant Mount Kilimanjaro. As you ascend through lush forested trails, your guide will share insights into the local flora, fauna, and the volcanic history of the region. After a rewarding day of hiking, return to Arusha for a relaxing evening.
Explore Arusha National Park – Game Drives and Canoe Ride
Today, embark on a game drive in Arusha National Park, located at the base of Mount Meru. This park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various primates. Enjoy the unique opportunity for a canoe safari on Momella Lake, where you can spot flamingos, hippos, and other aquatic animals. After lunch, take a gentle walk through the park to observe the beautiful landscapes and birdlife. Return to your accommodation in Arusha for dinner.
Travel to Ngorongoro Crater – Wildlife Safari
